After two decades of successfully running Main Street Bistro & Bakery in downtown Grapevine, owners Fabien Goury and Yasmine Bohsali decided to reinvest in the dining district. And thanks to Yasmine’s Middle East upbringing, it didn’t take them long to build a new concept and fresh menu. PIAF, a modern take on the Mediterranean bistro, offers seasonal menus that showcase the region’s zest. With influences from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, North Africa and Turkey, the restaurant provides big flavors in a swanky environment. Whether you settle into the moody main dining hall downstairs, enjoy your meal on the enclosed upstairs balcony patio or try out the posh second-floor lounge featuring a hand-drawn mural highlighting spots in the Metroplex, you can quickly feel transported after taking a seat.
At the heart of PIAF is the sparrow. In French, *piaf* is a familiar word for the small, spirited bird, and ours represents a traveler who has gathered flavors, stories, and friendships from around the world. His journey reflects the spirit of PIAF: bringing people together through food, conversation, music, and shared experiences. From The Nest downstairs to The Perch above, the sparrow is woven throughout PIAF as a symbol of discovery, connection, and good company.
